Kibuli Mosque, a prominent Islamic place of worship in Kampala, Uganda, boasts a rich history rooted in the Buganda Kingdom and the growth of Islam in the region. It stands on Kibuli Hill, donated by Prince Nuhu Mbogo, a Buganda royal, who built the first mosque there in 1892. Prince Badru Kakungulu, his son, further expanded the land, allowing for the development of educational institutions and solidifying Kibuli's role as a center for the Muslim community and education.
