Transport

Uganda's transportation system is primarily road-based, with air, rail, and inland water transport also playing a role. Road transport is dominant, carrying the vast majority of passengers and goods. While Uganda has a national road network, much of it is unpaved. Other modes like rail and water transport are less developed.
