Namirembe Cathedral, the oldest Anglican cathedral in Uganda, boasts a rich history marked by resilience and growth amidst challenges. Its story begins in 1890 when the Church Missionary Society established a presence on Namirembe Hill, leading to the construction of the first church. Over the years, the cathedral has seen multiple iterations, each reflecting the changing needs and circumstances of the growing congregation. The current structure, completed in 1919, stands as a testament to faith, community effort, and the enduring spirit of Namirembe.

Worship Services
Offers regular worship including English and Luganda Sunday services (7:00 AM, 8:45 AM, and 10:30 AM) plus afternoon Deliverance Service.
Sacramental & Life Ceremonies
Hosts baptisms (general on 2nd Sunday), weddings (any day except Sunday), confirmations, funerals, thanksgivings, and blessings. Fees apply: baptism
