Nyege Nyege Festival November 2025

The 10th edition of Nyege Nyege Festival (November 20–23, 2025) will take place at its new home Kalagala Falls, Uganda, set against the lush riverbanks of the Nile. This year’s theme, “Ekigunda Ky’Omuliro – The Gathering of the Flame,” celebrates a decade of boundary-pushing creativity, community, and ritual energy. Over four days, the festival will host 300+ artists across six immersive stages, showcasing a rich mix of sounds — from underground electronica and ancestral rhythms to Afro-house, dancehall, live bands, and experimental global beats. Beyond music, Nyege Nyege 2025 is also a cultural hub: there will be a film program (via the Matatu Film Stage), fashion takeovers (Kwetu Kwanza), and deep-rooted communal experiences. Adventure meets spirituality attendees can go bungee jumping, kayaking, or raft on the Nile through organized packages, while camping under sacred trees beside the falls.
