Christ the King Catholic Church, established in 1930, serves the Christ the King Catholic Parish in Kampala. It is situated at the junction of Colville Street and Kimathi Avenue on Nakasero Hill in the Central Division of Kampala. The church is part of the Archdiocese of Kampala and caters to the Catholic communities in Nakasero, Kololo, and Old Kampala. The church, originally built to accommodate around 600 worshippers, has undergone significant renovations to increase its seating capacity to approximately 1,500. These renovations were initiated in 2016 and completed in 2018, aiming to provide a more spacious and modern facility for the growing congregation.
