Ethiopian Airlines, the flag carrier of Ethiopia, has a significant presence in Uganda, particularly at Entebbe International Airport. While Ethiopian Airlines is a major player in African aviation, with a vast global network, its relationship with Uganda has seen both collaboration and challenges. 

Ethiopian Airlines operates multiple daily flights to Entebbe, including routes to Juba, South Sudan, utilizing its 5th freedom rights. The airline has been lauded as a key partner in Entebbe's development, with its flights contributing to the growth of air traffic and infrastructure upgrades at the airport. 

However, there have also been instances of incidents, such as a runway overshoot and flight delays, which have impacted operations and passengers.
